How It Started
Proud & Free began with a simple question: why is it so hard to find jewelry that lets you be yourself, quietly, proudly, on your own terms?
Not costume jewelry you wear once at a parade. Not luxury pieces priced at $200+. Something in between. Quality pieces with real meaning, at prices real people can afford.
So we made a few. Packed them late at night. Answered every message from people who trusted us with their stories.
What You Made It
What happened next was something we never planned for. Orders started arriving from every corner of the world. But more than that, your stories came in.
Someone told us a ring helped them come out to their parents. A bracelet was the first pride piece another person ever owned. A necklace became a gift that said everything words couldn't. A pair of earrings was worn to a first Pride march.
You turned Proud & Free from a tiny idea into a community spanning 50+ countries. Every order, every story, every photo you shared drives everything we do.
We started this to help people feel a little less alone. You showed us we weren't alone either.
Then They Took Us Down
Running a visibly queer store online has always meant fighting to exist. Our pages get deleted. Our ads get rejected. Our products get flagged simply for containing the words that describe this community.
This June, in the middle of pride month, it went further than ever. Our store was taken offline and kept down for over a month. While the world celebrated pride, we were locked out of the thing we built for this community.
The pieces on our shelves, rings for every identity, trans necklaces, rainbow bands, were headed for liquidation. Melted down. Gone.
We refused. We fought our way back online, and we made a decision about every piece that survived.
Why Everything Is Free
These pieces were made to be worn. To catch the light at a parade. To sit quietly under a work shirt. To be the first queer thing someone ever owns. To be a gift that says: I see you, and I am proud of you.
They were not made to be melted down while a queer store fights for its life.
So every remaining piece is going to this community completely free. You only cover the shipping. Wear it loud, keep it quietly yours, or give it to someone you love. Every order ships in plain discreet packaging, always.

Finding Our People
Our first 1,000 orders came from 23 different countries. The messages that came with them changed everything.
Growing the Collection
Earrings, bracelets, necklaces, personalized pieces, festival merch. Each one designed to let people express identity their way.
The Takedown
Deleted in the middle of pride month and kept offline for over a month, for being too visibly queer.
The Comeback
We rebuilt, again, like every time before. Because this community deserves a store that refuses to disappear.
